Richard Morgan started his woodworking career in 1997 working for a wood repair company in Kanagawa, Japan repairing flooring architectural fixture in brand new apartment buildings. He quickly took to colour matching and graining and even trained the new staff members. After a few years of travelling all over the Kanto area he then went onto restoring antique furniture for a Tokyo antique dealer. This led to clients asking him build custom furniture and renovation requests culminating in him building a full-blown house in 2017.
